Brief description:
The University of Bradford Global Development Scholarships (formerly known as Countries in Crisis Scholarships) are intended to aid students in financial hardship due to the fact that they are domiciled in a country that is in crisis as a result of the political situation, war, natural disaster etc.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
Each scholarship is worth approximately £25,000. The scholarship will cover full tuition fees and accommodation in The Green plus £4,200 per annum living costs to be paid in three instalments – October, January and April.

Eligibility:
To be considered for a place on one of the Master’s courses, you will need to have achieved (or be about to achieve) the minimum level of degree qualification specified for your country (see official website).
You will also need to meet the University’s English Language requirements.  You must now already have the required English qualifications to be able to study your chosen course, the University will not be able to consider your application unless you meet these requirements.

Future Leaders of Sustainability Masters Distinction Scholarship at University of Exeter

Future Global Leaders Scholarship at Coventry University

Brief description:
Chosen by the University of Coventry’s Deputy Vice Chancellor (International Development), Professor David Pilsbury, the successful recipients of the Global Leaders Scholarship will be awarded to three aspirational international students who can demonstrate their drive and ambition to become international global leaders of the future.

Each award is worth up to £10,000.  Continuing funding over years 2 and 3 is possible but is subject to students passing each year with a minimum average grade of 55% and the attendance legally required to satisfy visa requirements
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
  • • Be an international fee paying and self-funded student
  • • Have been offered a place to study at one of Coventry University’s full-time undergraduate courses
  • • Hold at least two of three A-levels at grade A (or hold equivalent qualifications).
  • • Submit a scholarship application including a statement of support which should not exceed 500 words prior to the application deadline of 30 June 2017.
  • • Your statement of support should state succinctly the outstanding leadership skills that you have demonstrated prior to study in addition to how you will use the knowledge gained from your chosen degree programme to become a future global leader.

INTO International Foundation Scholarships at University of East Anglia


Brief description:
The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship programme offers fee waivers for a variety of postgraduate students who have shown outstanding international or national achievements.

Minimum selection criteria: A first-class honours undergraduate degree (or international equivalent), plus evidence of key academic, professional and practical achievements. Achievements should be at national or international level and demonstrate local impact.

UWE Millennium Scholarship for International Students

Brief description:
The University of the West of England, Bristol offers the Millennium Scholarship to international students who will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Office or other departments, and will also be required to undertake ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course.
